Ben Guedes, MD, attended the University of Florida College of Medicine in Gainesville, FL, and received his medical degree in 1969. Furthermore, he conducted his pediatric residency at Fitzsimons Army Medical Center/Brooke Army Medical Center, followed by active duty. In addition, he completed his fellowship training in critical care medicine at UF Health Shands Hospital. Dr. Guedes received board certification in pediatrics from the American Board of Pediatrics. He remains at the forefront of his challenging specialty via memberships and affiliations with prestigious professional societies and associations.
